It was empty inside and the friendly bar staff handed me a lunch menu which had a nice little selection. I had the bbq chicken panini which came with salad and a handful of crisps chips if you’re American) . The food was nice and really hot which was great as outside the weather was bleak. Staff were friendly and smiling, the place soon filled up with people and seemed popular.
Such a lovely warm welcoming pub. Staff are amazing, even when pub is really busy. Food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend
Visited a couple of times during a recent stay in Capel Curig. Can’t speak to the hotel side of things but the food and drink was to a very high standard and the staff were friendly and helpful. Perfect for avoiding the chaos of Betws-y-Coed on busy days!
We stopped here for lunch with our dog. Friendly welcome and a great lunch. Well worth stopping by when touring the area!
We stayed here overnight to then have easy access to the Penrhyn Quarry to do the velocity 2 zip wire. The rooms were very comfortable and had most things you would need for an overnight stay. My room did not have a hairdryer but others may have done. Neither of the rooms my friends and I had had hot water for a shower in the morning but we didn’t have time to ask staff as we were running late for the zip wire event. That may have been a simple fix. The rooms were basic but comfy. The food in the pub was very tasty… my friend has cottage pie and I had sausages. Locally sourced and good quality. The staff could not be faulted. They were very friendly, professional and welcoming.
