Bananapalm Vietnamese Cuisine - Coogee

I absolutely adore Banana Palm! The Vietnamese cuisine is simply delicious. My favorite dish is the soft shell crab; it's a must-try! The atmosphere is relaxed, and while the service might not be the fastest, it's perfect for enjoying time with friends. The round tables are great for gatherings. I always have a wonderful experience when I visit. I'd love to invite you all for lunch, but I understand that everyone has busy schedules too.

The dining experience is fantastic! I highly recommend the chopped pork and duck, as well as the green tea crème brûlée. The prices are reasonable, and they have an extensive wine selection that will keep you coming back for more.

Having visited Vietnam and relished its cuisine, I’m sorry to say that the food at this restaurant did not transport me back to that experience. While the restaurant certainly had a Vietnamese identity, it fell short of the vibrant and fresh flavors that we enjoyed in Vietnam. However, the staff were friendly and welcoming.

The food tasted very good. Food will take time to prepare and cook, so it will not come fast if you’re in hurry. Good place for you to spend time with your family and friends to talk when waiting for the food. I expected to see Vietnamese staff there, but I didn’t see any Vietnamese at the time I came there. However, the decoration is very good, make me remember about Saigon and Vietnam. The music is also good for people to talk together. Will recommend others to come to try.
