Fuji Hitachi & Sushi - Cookeville

This is a great place to eat. The food and service is always good. Sitting at the Hibachi table is an extra treat. It is very entertaining to watch and fun to do with friends, family or as a couple. The house ginger dressing is very tasty. I recommend the Hibachi Steak. They will cook it just the way you like it. The sushi is also very good and always a good choice of an appetizer. I recommend the spicy crab and shrimp tempura. I would go back here time and time again. I highly recommend trying it when you catch yourself in Cookeville!

I happened onto this place while traveling through and sat at the suchi bar. The staff are more than willing to take your ideas on what type of sushi tou want. I 'm had to a more traditional pallet pertaining to raw fish and the menu here says 'yee haw ' written pall over it. Sad there is so much more to suchi than fried fried fried!. I enjoyed the place and I let the chefs make me whatever they took care of me! I highly recommend it!

The Orange Ginger dressing wakes up your palette and made me question 'Am I in Tennessee? '. Make sure you ask for their sauces such as the Yum, Sweet Eel, Ponzu and the exceptional Honey Wasabi. Our server Jenny was FABULOUS, she pleasantly brought which ever sauce I requested (sometimes twice) with no hesitation . I loved the Oyster tempura roll it was so much more than I hoped it would be. That being said their Rock&Roll which has amazing texture and flavor is my new favorite. The 2 for $5 rolls give you great options that can easily stand alone in quality and flavor. However with their sauces and your creativity the AMAZING flavor profiles are endless.

This is my family's favorite restaurant to go to for a special treat. Usually we go just for sushi and appetizers, but every now and then for an extra splurge, we'll sit at the hibachi table. Everyone here is very nice and the food is so delicious! I typically take my kids here at least once a month (usually after we pay rent because that's where they want to eat when I ask them, and I'm usually hoping that they will ask to eat at Fuji because I want it too!

Great variety of sushi, sashimi, rolls, combination platters, etc. Well stocked boats. We loved it!
