Cooma Ex-Services Club

As a family we would often come up to the Ex services club for a meal once a week as their menu, serving sizes and hospitality was always outstanding. Recently the chef changed as did the menu and prices. Now you are lucky if you get something just slapped on a plate. Food Prices have gone up and choice and quality has gone way down. Really unfortunate as the club has just finished renovating.

Unfortunately, the food was very low quality. I ordered spaghetti for the kids full of cheap chewy mince. My fish was super dry and the salad was drenched in oil. It's not cheap here either. The service was nice but the food was quite disappointing.

We stayed in Cooma overnight on the way down to the snow and decided to have dinner at the club. The wait for our meal was a bit long but when we did finally get it the food was well cooked and delicious. Our group had a mixture of chicken,steak and fish and everyone was very happy with their meal so i would recomend the Ex Services Club to anyone for just a drink or a full meal.Very happy with the time spent there.

Have to agree with the other bloke's review, unfortunately the quality of the food has dropped quiet a bit since changing hands. Me and the lady friend visited for the first time last week. We were pretty excited about the menu because it looked great but the quality was really average, plus the meals are smaller and the prices are higher. Good range of pasta options, and nice to see lasagna back on the menu. We'll give it another go because it's only fair to give the new guys some time to settle in and get it right.

Nice clean club. Friendly staff and mouth watering food. Reasonably price to which makes it a must do in Cooma
