Bought some cooked kielbasa (2 kinds) and kraut. The Kielbasa is amazing!! The smoke flavor, quality, and tenderness of the meat is out of this world. There were a range of other cured meats cannot wait to try them on other planned trips to this deli! Especially looking forward to a couple of types of deli ham. There are canned products, Russian teas and other stuff on shelves that I am not familiar with. Owner said they 've been there for 4 years! There must be some people who are in the know and keeping it a secret. What a happy find!!
Very friendly owners. Food is top notch. Had a sandwich and bought chocolate for the wife. Definitely going back when in town.
Fabulous find with terrific food crammed into a relatively small place. Today I had a pate sandwich, split pea soup and homemade cheese blintzes. All top notch. And there are tons of imported specialty items on the shelves. You will not leave hungry. If you can't wait to get home, there is even a small table at which to eat. The owner is most friendly and charming.
As Ukrainians, we drove an hour and a half to get our pierogies, kielbasa, and poppy seed rolls for Christmas since we don't have anywhere nearby. It was totally worth the trip! The restaurant is fantastic, with a friendly owner, excellent customer service, and a wide variety of delicious options. They had everything we were looking for! We will definitely return in the future.
Fairview Ave is hiding a true gem for those seeking Eastern European grocery goodies, deli meats and cheeses, frozen foods, and delectable sandwiches for lunch. Don't miss out on this hidden treasure - it's worth a visit!
