The Australian - Copenhagen

This is one of my favorite hybrid bars in Copenhagen. It’s an Australian themed bar that makes you feel like you are in an episode of Crocodile Dundee. The DJ booth is a hollowed out Humvee Jeep type vehicle They have a lot of places to chill and hang with your friends but also a dance floor with good music.

We paid 50 kr to spin the wheel behind the bar and won a whole bottle of fruit flavoured alcohol they use for shots! They have a dance club part as well as a more laid back area with pool tables and seating. I saw some other reviewers mentioned being knocked back because of their age (30 years). But we were all mid to late 30 years and got in with no problems on a Saturday night, perhaps because it wasn't super busy yet. It is generally a young crowd though.

Well, I was way to old for this venue to be honest. It seemed to attract people in the 18-22 age range. Having said that my company really felt like beer pong and in that area we were not dissatisfied. Great beer package and game area. Fun times! The place is a little grimy and dark- go there for beer, pong and billiards.

As an Australian visiting Copenhagen, this is a cool decor of a bar. However, nothing is genuinely Aussie, so don 't be disappointed if all they have for Aussie beer is Foster 's. Apparently Australians only play American music, Beer pong and Billiards.

Nice place with a fun atmosphere, although the music tend to be a bit old fashioned at times. It has both smoking facilities, pool, beer pong and a big dance floor. Entrance is pretty cheap and drinks aren't the worst, a nice place to go for a fun night out.
