Ms. Mary's Southern Kitchen - Coppell

Honestly, the exterior of the restaurant deterred us, and we chose to grab fast food instead. There were only two cars in the parking lot, and they looked like they belonged to the staff.

This restaurant is incredible! Every time I visit, the food is outstanding. During my most recent trip, I ordered the catfish, which was hot and had just the right amount of flavor without being too fishy. The yams were perfectly sweet, and the cabbage was cooked just right. Their sweet tea has a unique flavor—almost lemony, in my opinion. If you're looking for delicious Southern cuisine, you definitely need to check this place out!

The portions are generous, and the staff is very friendly. The restaurant is exceptionally clean, and the desserts were fantastic—everything tasted fresh.

TERRIBLE!!! Name should be changed to Ms. Mary 's Kitchen as there is nothing southern about this place!! No southern cooking and no southern hospitality. When making a complaint about my chicken and dumplings, Older lady even asked me what did I want them to do with them? OMG!!! In order to get an exchange, I had to just about write a dissertation. My second and LAST VISIT TO MS. Mary 's!! Watered down vegetables, over seasoned to hide the water, diabetic punch. A disaster!!

Little disappointed in the sides. Greens had no flavor and mac and cheese was super salty. I don't like my food to touch but had to mix both to help with the saltiness. I went for the mac and cheese. ? Chicken was good hot and fresh but lacked seasoning in the flour. But I would go back for the chicken. I wanted to leave a better review but I couldn't. Prices are great. It was quiet and almost empty but the customer service from both were excellent
