Coastal Cafe - Coquitlam

Very solid food. Was pleasantly surprised. Solid burger and fries. A solid upgrade from my memories of BC Ferries food!

What would a ferry crossing to Vancouver Island be without stopping in the the cafeteria for a bowl of their signature clam chowder? Based on a Manhattan clam chowder recipe, Costal Cafe's clam chowder is rich with clams, potatoes, carrots and flavour. For me it's a meal that keeps me sustained all afternoon. Now the Coastal Cafe serves many well loved Whitespot features that include burgers, breakfasts and when in season, their open crust blueberry pie. They'll add as little or as much whipped cream as you need to make this pie and coffee a generous afternoon tea accompaniment satisfying.
