The menu clearly marks gluten-free options, and fried items are prepared in a dedicated "gluten-free" fryer, served on separate plates. The waitress took extra care to ensure that I wouldn't accidentally eat any non-gluten-free food alongside the rest of my group. The prices are reasonable, especially during happy hour. It's wonderful to enjoy some pub food, and they are very accommodating.
I suspect there may have been a change in the head chef or some issues might arise when they're not present, as I've noticed two separate occasions where a gluten item was placed on a plate meant for someone with celiac disease, and then it was simply "removed." This is unacceptable. The owner or management needs to educate the staff on celiac protocols if they want to attract customers with this condition. It seems like some kitchen staff are quite inconvenienced when they make these mistakes, but it's essential that these errors are addressed and rectified.
Many items on the menu are already gluten-free or can be easily adjusted to accommodate gluten-free diets. They even have a separate fryer. The waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu and the modifications needed for gluten-free options.
The top bar in the area for gluten-free dining, making it completely safe for those with celiac disease.
Gluten free food comes out on different plates, so it is easy to spot if you have received the wrong plate. Had fries for the first time in a long time. Great atmosphere, will definitely come again.
