They were quite delicious but not for that price. The sushi was so-so. We had a plate of assorted sushi that was already “seasoned” by the chef. Our Western palates prefer to add wasabe and soya sauce, sorry. The prime rib was tough but the plate was otherwise good. The mushrooms were spectacular and the grilled peppers were very nice. The mashed potatoes were a big hit too.The Servers were very nice and very friendly but I think the restaurant needs to find people who speak better English than we witnessed on our visit. The servers were explaining each dish as they came out but their English pronunciation was unintelligible. (Not being racist, look at my name). The fact that they “ran out” of the featured beer on the menu from as far back as Sunday, the day before, struck me as very odd. This is not a neighbourhood pub. Who is in charge???That isn’t something that I would expect from a restaurant where the prices are so expensive.Anyhow, the food is not as spectacular as the prices.
Great place for sushi after playing some billiards next door. ?The Aburi and Atlantic rolls were quite tasty and decent portion. The sauce on the Atlantic roll was also quite tasty.Service was great as well and I received my order fairly quickly. The interior is nice and clean and has good lighting as well since it's facing south.Overall, this is a nice place for decent sushi in the area that you should check out! ??

Omg...what happened to the dynamite roll in my order??????? the dynamite rolls are made by very little piece of prown and two little pieces of cucumber and 80% of imitation crab.... the taste was awful...it was poor quality. It is the worst restaurant I ever seen dissapointed. It was a delivery order..And actually, it was not a first time I had an issue with this restaurant. I had a chicken teriyaki before here, but the chicken was very salty, even not edible and salt wasn't melted yet. At that time, I called the restaurant to let them know about the situation I had, instead of leaving any negative review because I thought it could be a mistake. After I explained about it (and I had to throw away whole thing), but I just heard only one word, sorry. That was it and I wasted my money. This time, it is not a mistake.....wow. ....It is the worst restaurant I ever seen .Even 1 star is not enough for them.
I came here with my parents one time and with my husband another time. Both times I was satisfied and got my sushi fix. Clean, consistent and fresh sushi. Service was great both times despite being short staffed on one of the days. They have some creative rolls that are heartier than I expected. Overall, Mika is easily my go-to sushi joint around Lougheed area. Will be back.Kid-friendliness: They provided high chairs and some cute Disney plates to share food with kids
