Nubo Grill And Tapas - Coquitlam

Went there for my son's birthday and we ordered the wasabi duck salad which came with a warning. While the mustardy flavours did clear our sinuses, it left one's palate with a sweetness mingled with the meatiness of the duck that was very pleasant. I see it's temporarily closed, but I hope they'll reopen soon. It's pricey, but for special occasions, it's memorable.

Friendly staff and clean modern place. Simple decor and spacious. Parking lot right outside and bus stops are walking distance. Clean washroom too. The drinks were good and the food was tasty. The food is a bit smaller portion but flavourful. Not my go to restaurant but I don't mind going back once in awhile if my friends suggest it.

The Beef Bulgogi was the best I've had. The chef came out to recommend his take on spicy and it was perfect. And my server had great red wine suggestions...a bonus

Romantic atmosphere. Too bad it was a bit cold to sit outside patio when we went, patio looked great with the cute lightings. We ordered good selections of little tapas, would go well with wine. Booth we were sitted was too dark and sitting was not too comfortable tho.

Wow! This place is amazing. How have I not tried Nubo before now?! The BBQ pork belly was incredible and the portion side was very large—incredible value for money. The meat platter was also excellent with very good marinades on each. The drinks were also very delicious. I got the Yuzu Passion Spritz—perfectly balanced—and the Yuzu Shandy was amazing as well. Service was top notch and the patio space is very cool. Highly recommend!
