Pho Phu Thinh Restaurant - Coquitlam

I recently dined at this restaurant with a friend at noon and heard a lot of good reviews about it. The place was clean, with only a man and a woman working in the dining room. The menu consisted of average Vietnamese dishes, nothing extraordinary in my opinion. The portion size of the large pho for $16 was very small, and the broth was bland. I found the separate scorched chili oil to be terrible tasting and overpriced for the quality. While the restaurant had various options to cater to different tastes, there are plenty of other restaurants nearby that offer better value. I probably won't be returning, except for the fact that the service was very friendly and the restaurant itself was spacious and clean.

I was happy to see the owners of Pho Phu Thinh restaurant again today. We had placed our order over the phone and it was ready for pick up at the specified time. Both entrees and extra appetizers were still hot when we got home. It was a wonderful experience.

The restaurant is always fantastic! The staff is extremely friendly and the food is delicious. I frequently meet my friends here for lunch and we always have a wonderful time. I highly recommend this place!

I came here for the first time on a week night. I had barely set myself with the menu and the waitress came by and asked if we were ready. I still saw the menu, so not really. the waitress was insecure. the availability of the obstöckel I ordered and repeated our order three times, but she got it right. She also assured me that my shake will come as soon as we got our food, which was nice. they gave us lemon instead of lime for our pho. I felt super thirst after, but the broth in the pho didn't seem so tasteful. the avocado shake was good and very refreshing with the right amount of sweet.

Frequently visit this small nearby restaurant for lunch and dinner. Highly recommend the dishes of special beef noodle, pawn rolls and fried chicken rice, which are all delicious with generous portion and reasonable price. We are also happy with the friendly services and their dine-in...measures against COVID-19!
