Red Robin Restaurants-Canada

First visit in perhaps 15-20 years or even more. (we usually do not have reason to visit this Save On Foods store mall. Promptly greeted and seated. Burger and fries today. $11 burger was good, or better said as OK for the price.

We have been coming here for years and never disappointed. Food and service is very good. When we want to have a good burger we come here.

I remember ordering the popcorn shrimp and fries from Red Robin when I was a child and that was a treat. I decided to venture down that road and what I received was an order of eye popping, breaded shrimp on top of a bed of fries. I was so pleased with my order that I had to count the shrimp. There were twenty nine. This was not the childhood tiny popcorn shrimp and fries in a tiny basket that I remembered. This platter was fit for royalty. And I was happy. I had a lemon wedge and an abundance of flavorful tartar sauce to complete the experience. Our server was extremely thoughtful and polite.

I ate in here once. The burger was very ordinary. Not very juicy or flavourful. Fries were okay. I'd never go back as I felt it was no where near good enough for the price. If it was like maybe $8 Iinstead of around $20 I'd say it was okay.
