Ricky's Country Schoolhouse - Coquitlam

I absolutely love this place! It was my first time visiting this restaurant, and I really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and cozy vibe. The food was delicious, and I know this will be one of my go-to spots whenever I'm in the area.

We had a fantastic first experience at Ricky's! The atmosphere is warm, clean, and inviting. The service went above and beyond our expectations, and the food was truly delicious, with generous portion sizes that left us with plenty to take home. The menu is diverse, offering something for everyone. Both the owner and the staff were friendly and cheerful. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a great meal in a cozy environment. It's quickly become one of our favorite places, and we can't wait to come back!

The food was excellent and the restaurant operated smoothly. However, the atmosphere felt somewhat hurried during our late lunch visit, as there were many other diners present. Although the staff were pleasant and very friendly, they didn’t have much time for chatting. While this was understandable, it did take away from the overall ambiance. On a positive note, the food was served hot and our coffee was regularly refilled. We will certainly be back.

I attended a private event in one of the restaurant’s private rooms. The food was quite enjoyable; I ordered the veggie burger and fries, which had a pleasant flavor. However, I think the presentation could use some improvement. I found out that the restaurant was short-staffed that evening, which can certainly pose challenges in managing a restaurant effectively.

We had lunch there and discovered a nice variety of classic family restaurant dishes on the menu. The food was tasty, and our server was both attentive and friendly. However, the restaurant could benefit from some updates, as the decor hasn't changed since it first opened many years ago. I was also surprised by the lack of cleanliness in the men's restroom, especially considering the time of day we visited. Overall, it was a decent experience, and I would probably go back.
