South Castle Korean - Coquitlam

Loveeee south castle !!! I love their souls here, it’s amazing. I usually don’t finish my soup when I’m at Korean restaurants but at south castle I always do. I’ve driven here many times, 30+ minutes everytime because I love the food here so much! I usually get the galbitang and other dishes that others order. I finish my galbitang to the last drop. So good. The lady that works everytime I come (or maybe she’s the owner, idk) is super friendly and really fast at getting our orders out.

It's even better than the taste I had in Korea. They are always kind and take care of the babies. It's a place that makes you feel good all the way back after eating. When I miss Korea, this is a place I definitely go to eat at least once a week. Thank you for making good food! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Went here for the first time and I really enjoyed the galbi tung 갈비탕. Decent amount of meat and the prices are very reasonable. One downside about this restaurant is that the parking in the whole complex or strip mall is quite limited. They provided high chairs for the two kids we had at our table who under 3 years old On a separate occasion i had 막창 and i actually enjoyed it. Going to return here one day for sure. Drove here to get some dinner, was very disappointed. Service was HORRIBLE, I don’t know about others, but there was this one waiter that had basically no patience. First off, we couldn’t read the menu since it was all in Korean, when we asked her, she said there were QR codes that we had to scan on our phones for the English version and just walked away. We had to track her down again just to tell her that there was nothing to scan. She grunted and followed us back to our table, she then grabbed a small plastic sign from another table(with QR code) and rudely threw it at our table and mumbled “sorry”, and walked away. Also, she got pretty pissed when we told her that we only ordered 1 plate of blood sausage when she brought us 2. Don’t come if you don’t know Korean or just get take out. Food was ok, but definitely overpriced.
