All the portions were huge, and we easily wound up with leftovers. The egg foo yung must have had at least 10 eggs in it; the sweet and sour pork had a delicious sauce with it and was way better than any other sweet and sour pork that I have ever had. The beef and broccoli was nice and savory; the chow mein tasted great, and the almond chicken was again the best that I have ever had, and I have been to how many restaurants now? The prices are not cheap, but what are you paying for? Definitely worth it. You can get breakfasts here, too and they are enormous. This place has little to no air conditioning, so bring a fan or something in the hot summers of British Columbia.
Steam ribs were not fresh and taste old. Beef ball was salty, Lotus leave sticky rice was dry but was taste good. sesame ball was fresh hot inside. Service was very slow we wait for almost 10 mins to get someone over for tea. Overall, food quality and Dimsum experience I will give 6 out of 10 since the sitting were very cozy and bright.
I went to the location that is next to the Ramada. After reading all the negative reviews, I was skeptical. I found the food to not be horrid as others have reviewed. It wasn't the best, but I've definitely had worse. I found the portion size to be somewhat lacking, but for the cheap price...can't really complain.
We have been good customers at the Austin location. What happened with the move.? Our dinners were very poor. The food was bland, greasy and not fresh at all. The presentation was unacceptable with all the food crammed onto a single plate. The restaurant is very small and dated looking with the kitchen in the center. We will have to find another location in Coquitlam for our Chinese food
This is a chop suey place rather than a Chinese restaurant. They serve chop suey as well as Denny’s type breakfast and lunch. The lunch combo comes with either wonton soup or clam chowder. They also charge $1.5 for Chinese tea which is very rare except dim sum places. Not recommended.
