It was disappointing to have to serve ourselves coffee, water, and wine. My main complaint was the treatment from the staff. I was told rudely that I couldn't take the wine bottle from the counter to my table. When I poured the wine and went to get water, the server seemed uninterested in helping us. When I tried to order another bottle of wine, I was told I couldn't take it to the casino floor, which I understand, but the way it was communicated to me was unprofessional. I spent $46.00 on two bottles of wine and over $80.00 on dinner, which was not worth it. The carved beef was tough and lacked flavor, the salad selection was poor, and the hot dishes were bland. I will not be returning to this buffet, as I would prefer to pay double for a better experience at River Rock with better food, friendlier service, and not having to serve myself.
Service staff friendly, smiling and attentive. The $14 buffet is on the best average both in the taste and quality of the entrees. Given the spread, I think this casino buffet should be price at $10 (or perhaps even lower).
The buffet was good, but quite simple. We were there for dinner on Sunday, so this is their most expensive option. (Next seafood, but this is not a buffet, but a curly and expensive. The buffet had a roast beef, pork roast, salmon and chicken, as well as sidedishes and salads. For the selection it could be a little cheaper, with all taxes and stuff. You also ask for tips in front when you pay for a buffet, so it is Art TIP TAX on everything. And they give you the choice on the machine from 18%. Greedy buggers :
The restaurant offers a fresh selection of food. The desserts are average and not exceptional, but they are popular. The staff is courteous and efficient. Overall, it was a pleasant lunch experience.
I had low expectations for this restaurant, but I was still disappointed by the quality of the food. I assumed that with the name Hard Rock attached, it would at least be decent. This buffet was the worst I have ever been to. The food was reminiscent of the buffet from Vegas Vacation - unappetizing and unappealing. The salads looked old and the other dishes seemed to have been sitting out for hours. The BBQ selection was particularly disappointing, with dry ribs, tasteless chicken, and questionable meats at the carving station. The atmosphere was not much better, with a clientele that appeared to be mostly low-income or homeless individuals hoping to strike it rich at the casino. I would advise staying away from this buffet. Even as someone who can usually stomach questionable food, I found this experience to be revolting. The Hard Rock should be ashamed to have their name attached to such a poor establishment.
