The selection of rolls is limited which is why I only give this place 3 stars. I ordered the Coral Reef and Whole Foods Rolls. The Coral Reef was the winner out of the two. Love the fish tempura on top. Nice addition to the roll and I recommend it.
Excellent sushi, great cocktails, good service, nice ambiance, convenient location. Prices are high but it?s in the Gables? Not a whole lot more you can ask for here.
Loved the atmosphere of the place! Possibly because they had the movie Rush Hour playing at the time and it definitely made the experience more enjoyable. The food was delicious, I highly recommend getting the Tuna Poke Nachos to share with a friend! It's also near a local theater and a bookstore, so a perfect spot for lunch and dinner while looking around.
Ok sushi, ok prices and good service. They always have space, so that?s nice and parking also easy to find. I ordered spicy tuna roll, JB tempura and another roll that was my fav but don?t remember the name.
This Coral Gables Japanese restaurant in the epicenter of the Cuban Diaspora is not only a cool discovery, but because of where it is, adds a special twist to sushi: Cuban influences! I had the Cali Ocho roll (named after Calle Ocho in Little Havana): kanikama salad, mango, fried sweet plantains, cream cheese, avocados, eel sauce and chili-lime mayo.... see photo. The unusual combination was delicious! The service was also most exemplary! A smiling gent named Leroyprovided great advice with a huge smile!
