The decor with the bears were very unique. Not a fan of the new menus either. All in all was an ok experience but had a better experience at other restaurants in the area if I am 100% honest.Worth the try but food was not really what I expected.
Overall a great experience. The place is very nice and so is the decor, loved the teddy bears. We ordered a couple of sushi rolls and appetizers and everything was very good! Margaritas were okay, I’ve had better though. The tiramisu was very yummy and creamy !!The service was great, our waitress was friendly and kind. One recommendation would be to offer complimentary Hors-d'œuvre while you wait for your appetizers. It’s the expectation most clients have.
This is a nice spot off of Miracle Mile. Ambience was good, food was just ok. The music is pretty loud, like nightclub loud so don’t expect to have a nice intimate dinner with conversation here. It’s also pretty dimly lit as well. I would come here again for maybe 1 drink at the bar. They also have cute photo op spots. Played all Hispanic music throughout the night with very small touches of hip hop lightly mixed in for a few seconds.
I recently dined at Gramercy, and while the ambiance and cuisine were noteworthy, I must express my disappointment with certain aspects of the experience. The restaurant's atmosphere was undoubtedly charming, and the food was delectable, making for an enjoyable evening. However, a few incidents marred the overall impression. Firstly, the premature presentation of the bill without our request was quite surprising, especially considering we had just purchased a $500 bottle of Buchanan whisky. It left us feeling rushed and detracted from the relaxed dining experience we had anticipated. Furthermore, the restaurant's decision to close early at around 12:30 was unexpected and unsettling. To make matters worse, we were advised to take our expensive, partially consumed bottle of whisky home due to the early closure. This came across as both rude and unacceptable. When patrons are spending generously and indulging in a fine dining experience, being asked to leave prematurely is disappointing and disrespectful. If Gramercy intends to close at a specific time, it should refrain from selling high-value items like expensive bottles of whisky to customers who may not have sufficient time to enjoy them fully. Such actions can leave diners feeling unwelcome and dissatisfied with their overall experience. While I appreciate the positive aspects of Gramercy, I believe it's essential for the restaurant to refine its customer service and closing policies to ensure that all patrons receive the exceptional experience they deserve, especially when they are making significant purchases.
Ordered 2 different bottles of red wine that they were “out of” because they were “redoing their wine list.” It just so happens they recommended other bottles of wine as potential replacements that were 2.5X in price. We asked if because of the inconvenience we could have the Ladies Night special that was advertised as bar-only at the table. After the manager was consulted, the answer was just “no, it's only at the bar.” So we closed out our table tab of a sushi appetizer and thought about going to the bar to continue, but instead just decided to go to Morton's Steakhouse down the street, who had an amazing Miami Spice menu which we really enjoyed. Kinda just felt like the Gramercy experience was a waste of time, but we did get some nice photos in a nicely decorated place.
