Zona Fresca - Coral Springs

I just realized that I've been visiting Zona for so many years and have never written a review—sorry, Zona! This place is incredibly delicious. It's very clean, with employees regularly walking around to wipe down tables and tidy up any messes. The staff is genuinely friendly and treats you like family, I promise. The food is served quickly, and the prices are definitely reasonable for what you receive. I usually come here 1-2 times a week for lunch or dinner, and sometimes even more. I absolutely love my Zona!

During our visit to friends in Coral Springs, we decided to grab some lunch. I like to refer to University Drive as the hub for upscale fast food eateries. My wife had a craving for a vegetarian quesadilla that she had enjoyed before, so we stopped by Zona Fresca. She ordered the quesadilla, which came with melted jack and cheddar cheese inside a grilled flour tortilla, accompanied by guacamole, pico de gallo, and sour cream. I opted for the roasted pork street taco, topped with pickled onions and cilantro, and it was excellent. They also feature a nice salsa bar with four different types of salsa to choose from.

I was in the area and decided to try this spot out for the first time... I am glad I did. Not often does a business make time to know who there customers are but I must say my experience was one of a kind. I ordered a burrito with all the goodies... Romeo took my order, explained my options and I explained to him it was my first time there and he asked my name and gave me a softdrink on the house. The chicken and steak are very well seasoned, along with the black beans.. I added a little rice to my burrito and it was so tasty. The menu items are made fresh daily. Unfortunately I devoured my burrito before taking a pic Thank you Romeo at Zona Fresca for the amazing service and I will 100% recommend this place and be returning for more. Leo ‍

I got pork, chicken and beef tacos to go. The pork taco was the closest to traditional but all three tacos were very good. Their mango habanero salsa is my favorite and has a lot of heat. Buying the trio ends up being around $3 per taco which is a great price. I definitely will be coming back!

For good place to go for lunch! I was doing errands and had a full schedule so I needed a quick but good quality lunch. I don’t know why I decided to stop by zona Fresca but I was near by and was calling my name so I went in and I’m glad I did. I ordered the taquitos and I chose both chicken and steak which came with rice and beans, lettuce, pico de gallo and sour cream. They also gave me chips and salsa which was nice, the way the pandemic has affected many restaurants I’m surprised they still offer that with out charging extra. Anyways the food was really good, I’m not sure if it was because I was starving and hadn’t eaten all day but I loved it. I actually ate all of it, I was full for the rest of the day! I also love their salsa bar such great options, I particularly loved the picked jalapeños and onions, I also got a drink which both ice teas they had were delicious and I definitely would recommend to anyone to definitely go there if your looking for a healthier fast food that taste great. Also the service was nice the people seemed to like their job and were really friendly which is nice to see nowadays because good service is hard to find now. I also liked the menu and would like to go back to get to try more of it.
