Contribuisci feedbackThanks to MetroGuide and a $50.00 gift certificate we ate here last night. Having no reservations we waited for an hour and twenty minutes to get seated by a very pleasant hostess, who by the way tried to keep the crowd outside who were also waiting happy by serving horderves about every twenty minutes, that was a very nice touch, and also because of what they served changed my dining partners mind and he decided to order the pork chop instead of the original thought of a fish dish, based on how delicious the sample of pork they offered outside. Our youngest son ordered an apple martini, 6 oz sirloin, house salad, and key lime pie. He found everything cooked to perfection and the martini excellent. My oldest son had the same thing without the martini and also raved about everything, and of course my partner had the "Fontina chop, (fontina cheese, garlic, prosciutto, mushroom Marsala wine sauce). And couldn 't stop talking about how good it was. While my sons steaks were excellent my own was terribly tough, full of gristle, I was sorely disappointed. We all shared the bang bang shrimp which is evidently a dish they are famous for, and all raved about it, wonderful, tasty, and plenty in one order for 4 men to start the meal off. Our server was Christa who was excellent, explaining the different dishes served and recommending only ordering one of the bang bang shrimp since there was so much on a serving. I found the restaurant itself very noisy and that too was a disappointment, but the patrons fault not the establishments. Out total cost before tip was $122.38 which I think is very reasonable. While I checked off that I won 't be going here again, I 'm sure that if it came to a vote, my sons and partner would over rule me. I would suggest strongly that you make reservations.
I recently ate at the Bonefish Grill in Coral Springs and all I can say is AMAZING!!!! After 5 years on restaurant row in Coral Springs(University DR) they are still the best in town. Our appetizer the Bang Bang Shrimp is to die for, crispy on the outside, tender on the inside and nice and spicy. Our sever Daniel was amazing, one of the most genuine servers my family has ever encountered dining out. If you go ask for him. As far as drinks go their martinis are absolutely amazing, and they have consistently been improving their wine list. Make sure to look at their featured and reserve wine lists for some outstanding bottles of wine all rated highly in Wine Spectator Magazine and reasonably priced for the quality of the wine. The Chilean Seabass Oscar which is generously topped with asparagus and jumbo lump crab meat was awesome. The Seabass was perfectly cooked, tender decadent and melted in my mouth. The other entree, The Pistachio Parmesan Rainbow Trout is truly a hidden gem on the menu, sautéed to a golden brown and encrusted with bread crumbs, parmesan cheese and pistachios, absolutely delicious. For dessert the Bananas Foster is enough to feed an army. It has giant scoops of vanilla ice cream, a buttery caramel sauce, bananas, and crispy cinnamon encrusted tortillas on the bottom underneath to absorb all the goodness of this amazing dessert. Overall the Bonefish Grill in Coral Springs is the number one place in town to eat, have some great drinks, and be with friends and family.
The Bone Fish Grill has great food and service. Fresh fish all the time. I love the bang bang shrimp, be sure to get two orders of it!
I have eaten in several Bone Fish restaurants. I frequent the one in Plantation the most. There food is good and the prices are fair.
