Cosy old fashioned pub in very pretty village. Really friendly, helpful staff offering samples of beers to try. Good selection of vegetarian dishes and roast meats for Sunday lunch. Also the most dog friendly pub I’ve been to. Not only was Timmy severed a bowl of water at under the table, but a bowl of roasted meat scraps were offered! I was a return customer to the Queen’s Head, and this absolutely won’t be the last time. The Sunday roast was top drawer, the beer always fantastic and the staff and atmosphere that other pubs can only dream of. Can’t wait to come again. Recommended dishes: Sunday Roast
