The chicken broth and breaded pork are especially better than anything we could make at home. I highly recommend this place. The only downside is that the restaurant is quite small, so dining in requires a reservation. Hopefully they will expand to a larger location in the future. Other than that, the food is excellent.
I have visited this Polish restaurant several times over the last couple of years, but this is my first time writing a review. The restaurant has recently undergone some changes and is now about half the size, but the food is still just as good. The pierogi (dumplings) are delicious and authentic, reminiscent of what you would find in Krakow. The flavors are beautiful and the dishes are well presented. There is a wide selection of main courses available to cater to various tastes. The staff is very friendly, fluent in English, and always take good care of me. The portions are generous, and you definitely get your money's worth here.
For the main course, the meat was the only redeeming factor. The French fries were a letdown, tasting like a mix of previously fried items. The salads were average, resembling supermarket options like beetroot, coleslaw, and carrot. Overall, the meal was overpriced at £9.90, especially considering the subpar quality of the food. I ended up leaving half of my main course due to the combination of cold atmosphere and weak soup.
I am english with polish relatives so grew up with polish food. Would definitely recommend this place for some really good polish food. Good service, friendly waitress. Highly recommended
