The floors, tables, and chair legs were dirty, with dust on the windowsills near where people were dining. The bin was overflowing with rubbish, and there was dried milk spilt down the front of the dispenser. It is apparent that the area requires more frequent cleaning. Some staff appeared to be idle and could have taken the initiative to clean instead of standing around. Overall, this experience was disappointing and I would not choose to dine here again.
I was waiting in line to order and one of the staff members kept shouting "whose next?" repeatedly, which was quite unnecessary. I ordered a ham and cheese toastie, which was carelessly placed on the counter by an unfriendly assistant who seemed disinterested in their job. Although the coffee was decent, the toastie lacked filling and was not worth eating. Overall, it was a big letdown. There are many other coffee shops and snack options in Corby town center, so I will not be coming back here.
We visit this restaurant frequently and are frequently disappointed. The cooked food is hit or miss when it comes to being served hot or cold. Many times it is served cold, which is not ideal. The pizza we ordered was freezing cold and extremely hard, so we had to throw it away. The only positive aspect of this place is the drinks or anything else that doesn't require cooking.
Typical greggs, good reasonably priced food, often very busy so allow a few extra minutes if you are in a rush.
