Smoakies -b-que - Cordele

We stayed there after a funeral during a large gathering. I was captivated by the big rib dish. If you try nothing else, make sure to have the banana pudding for dessert—wow! I can't wait to go back to Cordele again!

I drive through Georgia twice a year on my way to North Carolina, and I always make it a point to stop at Smoakies. Their food is so good that I even buy a full selection of their sauces to take home with me!

This BBQ place doesn't even need any sides; the smoky flavor is fantastic on its own. We discovered it as locals, and everything from the crispy rings to the shiny potato salad is outstanding. The service is very friendly, and the prices are reasonable. We travel to Carolina every year and now plan to spend our first nights in Cordele just to eat at Smoakies. Keep up the great work!
