This restaurant is sooo delicious! The owner he is very friendly and makes you like you have a good friend in Cordoba! We tried chicken soup, chicken picadas with watermelon water, all with great Mexican tasting.
I visited El Patio de la Abuela on 30. November 2018. There is a closed restaurant at the entrance and the terrace is back. It was a very pleasant place to eat, the staff was helpful and the food was very good. The owner gave wonderful Lebanese/Mexico food to sample. Yum! I'd definitely go back. Much success El Patio de la Abuela.
No doubt this is the best family restaurant in Cordoba. Has a main seating area on the entrance, a patio with several tables, and a back seating room. Food has a Lebanese heritage... due to grandma origin, as the owner told us. The food, excellent. Service too. The owner was all the time around, greeting each customer, and particularly those that are visitors, like us. Location is excellent. Near main plaza. Definitely the spot to visit.
I literally tripped and bumped into a person on the street and met Raphael. I was looking for food and apologized as I was not watching where I was going, as I was looking for a restaurant. He said he had one with the best food. So we went there and he was not kidding! We went back for breakfast and I brought my camera. We will stop by again on our return trip to Mexico City. We don't eat pork and dishes were prepared specially for our needs.
