Alcorta carnes y vino - Córdoba

It was skeptical to come here for bad reviews, but eating was pretty good. service was amazing. I wish they asked her meat with sauces on the side. pasta filled with smoked odor and lemon sauce was a little bitter. dessert was amazing.

Please keep in mind this review is for the restaurant on YRIGOYEN. I’ll start by saying that the location is good, the service was excellent, the atmosphere pleasant, and the menu quite nice. However, when the waiter keeps telling you “ sorry we’re out of...that tonight” which included food items as well as wine, you feel quite frustrated. The freaking name of the restaurant says “... y vinos” yet the actual list of available wines is much less than you’ll find at average midprice restaurants not specializing in wine. I’d argue that with a limited availability of food and wine and no Sommelier, Alcorta Carnes y Vinos should change their name to: LaCorto.

I ate here two weeks ago and was NOT disappointed. I had eaten here a year earlier and want to go again with friends new to Argentina. They loved the experience so much we went back the following evening. Great service, great prices thanks...to the US $$. Lovely food. I will continue to return here Great meat and wonderful selection of wines. Near to the cañera and on a main avenue. You must try it.

We were there with a friend and enjoyed the food as well as the wine. However, compared to some other and quite cheaper restaurants it underperformed and the service was really below average.

We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel. We had a late and lazy lunch. It was a very nice experience. Our son had an enormous (too much to eat) milanesa nepolitana and fries, I had a lovely spaghetti with salmon in a cream and...mushroom sauce. My wife had a very tasty pink trout with a pumpkin mash. The waiters were traditional argentine stone faced almost grumpy, but at the same time very polite and attentive. If I was to be critical of the food, I would say that the portions were a little large too much to eat, especially for lunch and also the pasta could do with a little seasoning (salt and pepper), but obviously they are personal preferences and I could add them at the table. It wasn't very expensive and the quality of the food was good. The place was well maintained and clean throughout. Recomendable.
