Upon entering, we were both ID 'd , which I think is fantastic that they do so right at the door. Then we noticed that there was a group of people at a table smoking, which seeing as my husband and I are smokers, we were delighted. Once we got to a table, the only one we could find, and we met our waitress, we were ID 'd again and then asked what we wanted. My husband ordered the boneless buffalo wings and I ordered the Reuben without sauerkraut and a cosmopolitan to start. The food was delicious. The Cosmo was also great. And as was my second drink, the shock top seasonal. When it got to the third drink, the 'banking on it ' cocktail, it was absolutely terrible. It tasted, looked and smelled like pepto bismol. Also, don 't judge me. I 'm not an alcoholic. It 's my birthday. Overall, the service was good. Could have been a bit better but it was packed in there so it 's understandable. The food was great. Wish there was more. And the drinks were good as well, overall. We will definitely be coming back.
It was good and would be a great place to watch a football game. BUT... First it is 21 and over and we have a child that likes to watch football too. Second, it is smokey and it wasnt even busy. I would hate to see it when it's busy. Third, the menu is ok. Unfortunately they claim to be an English Brew Pub but only have one English dish on the menu, fish and chips. They could add bangers and mash, a shepards pie, a roast and potatoes dinner, and maybe a pudding of some sort and then it would live up to its name. The food on the menu seems almost like the food comes out of a bag or box and is just warmed up. Although it wasn't bad, I will not be back for the food. Finally, our server was pretty good, nice and average.
Air was really smokey, not even that crowded they could use better ventilation or step out of the 1980s and go non smoking... Other than that it was enjoyable, Basic bar&pub grub. Not much 'English ' cuisine for an 'English pub ' but that can be forgiven in a Southern USA chain. Good TVs for sports, pool tables, overall a decent place.
Nice Catch!. Went to Fox and Hound the other night with friends. I ordered the Rum Punch drink and then the fish and Cajun rice for dinner. The punch hit the spot (twice in fact) and the fish was tasty overall. The fish was a bit overcooked and the rice was a bit too spicy for me. Warning, the Cajun rice has jalapenos and cayenne pepper. If you do not like heat, I would opt for the standard fish and chips. Which I have had several times there and have enjoyed each time. The night was topped off with the large cookie and ice cream for dessert. YUMMY! You really get plenty of food for the price.
Pretty good. Great place for a crew to hang out play pool or ping pog and watch a game. The food is usually pretty good and if you get the right bartender the drinks are well made. I do miss their fried cheescake dessert though that stuff was awesome
