I was in Cordova a couple weeks ago and got a calzone from this place. I work in a city of 250,000 people, live 1.5 hours from Atlanta and if there's a better pizza joint in either of those cities I don't know about it. This place was legit, as were allthe restaurants I visited in town. Your small town is blessed with some real passion for food. The calzone was too big for oneperson to eat but I'd been off the grid for a few days and was down several pounds so I ate the whole thing. Wish we could havedined in and had a beer but I understand things are weird right now. To the folks complaining about the price, I actuallythought it was more than fair for a small town where all supplies come in by plane or boat.
This place seemed pretty popular, it was busy every time I walked by. I finally popped in to see what they had, and found a surprisingly wide range of fresh toppings, given the location of the restaurant. Covid meant no indoor seating, carry-out was the only option. I decided to walk around town a bit, and they called me when my pizza was ready. Their outdoor seating was full, but the person who gave me my pizza told me that if I walked over to the tsunami siren, I'd find a picnic table by the water. Best advice ever! I enjoyed an amazing pizza and dessert with a beautiful view. I highly recommend the turtle cheesecake!
I was in Cordova this past summer doing trail work on a local trail, and this is the best pizza I've ever had! I loved coming to this restaurant and I can't wait to come back in March.
Surprisingly, very good pizza. Was hoping for a more crispy crust, with it being a brick oven, but it was still good. Hoping to try the garlic knots soon.
