I ordered takeout from this restaurant and was extremely disappointed with the poor quality of the food. The dishes were tasteless and overly stodgy. To make matters worse, the vegan Pad Thai I ordered only came with two pieces of broccoli as the total vegetable accompaniment.
The Thai food at this restaurant was pleasant, though not exceptional. However, I found the prices to be unreasonably high considering the small portion sizes. The staff, while not particularly rude, appeared disinterested and lacked friendliness or helpfulness. Due to these factors, I probably won't return as there are better Thai restaurants in Cork.
We had originally planned to eat at the Indian restaurant next door, but it was closed. So we ended up going to Camile Thai in Bishopstown instead. We waited for a staff member to come and seat us, but after waiting for 10-15 minutes with no one acknowledging us, we felt like it wasn't a welcoming environment. I suggested to my friends that we go somewhere else, but they decided to wait it out. In the end, I left because I was not pleased with the service. My friends later told me that the food was not good at all.
Passive aggressive staff (not all) make the experience all in all unenjoyable. Seems if you're not from the area your a nobody.
