Ramen - Cork

We decided to try Ramen Ballincollig as other establishments in the area wouldn't cater for our dietary requirements. Even though he was really busy the manager took time to go through the menu with us and show us what we could have that was gluten and dairy free. Nothing was too much trouble and he even suggested swapping out cream for coconut milk in some of the dishes. It turned out that he was coeliac himself and his partner had a dairy allergy so he understood fully our predicament in trying to eat out in an area we didn't know. I ordered sweet and sour chicken and my partner had the massaman curry. Both were really delicious and portions so huge we asked for take away containers to take the remainder home with us. The massaman curry was probably one of the nicest we had ever eaten and the vegetables in the curry and sweet and sour were crunchy and obviously freshly made. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Ballincollig as it's nice to find somewhere that took such care and served really good food.

My dad and I are visiting from another country and came here to try after having bad asian at another asian restaurant and we were blown away at the food and service. Definitely recommend

Masaman curry is generous and enough for 2. Solid and consistent. Counter staff could be a bit more in it...
