Contribuisci feedbackThank you to Yelp for helping me find another great location. I always read a few reviews, look at the number of stars and then also the number of reviews. This was low on Yelp with 90 but has over 400 on Google with higher stars so we decided to take a chance and we are extremely happy we did. When you walk in there is a board with any special listed that has a good variety and then you get seated and given a huge menu along with a specialty sushi menu. Holy cow, they seriously offer a lot and we were all pretty hangry so we dove right into getting some egg drop soup along with pot stickers. Our server asked if we wanted to order the entrees now because it would take a little while so we didn't have to worry about everything coming out at the same time but there is so much stuff on the menu and many things sounded delicious, we all weren't ready for a while. She was very attentive to our table as well. The restaurant itself wasn't super busy but there were several people waiting in the front for takeout and we could hear the Uber Eats chime going off often. Ben always tells me that at any sushi place I can spot the most expensive roll and that is what I'll go for, which is exactly true but they do generally sound amazing, and Osaka was no different. They had a few that sounded good to me but I went with the Lobster Love which has tempura lobster, shrimp, cucumber, cream cheese and jalapeno, topped with tuna, salmon, flake and mild sauce, but I ordered mine without the jalapeno. When it came out, my eyes got huge because the roll itself is huge but looked wonderful. I have to say, this was hands down the best lobster roll that I have had and one roll that I can say is worth the extra costs. I gave my niece and Ben each a piece and both agreed. Ben agreeing that it was good enough to justify the cost is a big deal, really big. Eating the roll was comical due to the size but I was very full and even had extra to take with me. Ben went with one of his favorites, Mei Fun and it too was a large proportion that he was able to take it home with us. Problem for him was that he thought it was so good that he just kept eating it until we boxed it up so he was more than full. I don't remember what my niece ordered but she got two rolls and also loved her choices. The one thing that really stuck out for us along with the food was the top-notch customer service we received. I had ordered my roll without the jalapeno, but it did come out with it in it. Honestly, I didn't really notice it on the pieces that I had eaten already but our server came over super apologetic and though I told her it was alright wanted to make things right. I wouldn't allow her to make another as between myself, my niece and Ben we had eaten half already so she did offer me another option to go along with my dinner, which I did accept when she wouldn't take no for an answer on something. Funny enough, after she mentioned it even had jalapeno in it, the very next piece had a big piece in it and I could definitely tell. I think she jinxed me. LOL. She 100% didn't need to go above and beyond like she did because I didn't bring it up myself, but she did and that earned her an even better tip. She just was on point with us and the tables around us. We even chatted with some of them because they also mentioned how good she was. When we left, the three of us said that during our next visit that we would definitely be back as they are not far from a brewery (Assclown) that we found and Ben loved. Thank you for the great meal!
Food was awful, I will not return due tk how food taste. Service was good but the food wasn't good at all.
Good food! Expansive menu, somewhat forbidding to review. We stuck with the basics. All four of us were pleased, but some dishes needed more spice. The Pad Thai needed a boost. Atmosphere was quaint and a friendly and the staff was attentive.
Absolutely terrible customer service. I called about an order being wrong and instead of apologizing they just told me you ordered the wrong thing basically told me I had no idea what I wanted and when I pushed back the woman on the phone started yelling at me. I hung up because I 'm not about to be disrespected. So, don 't ever call with an issue because the staff here will just try to belittle you and make you feel stupid. And to top it off my orange chicken was mostly breading and the pieces that weren 't just bread were undercooked. Spent $58 on a meal that went to the trash. Awful.
Best sushi I've had, the noodles, egg rolls, spring rolls all from scratch. Staff was great it was clean and we will be back. Traveling to Mooresville from WV Miss family
