Sam's Place Diner - Cornell

Decided to treat myself to a hot meal after a night of rain while camping at Brunet Island State Park. Sam’s Place is THE place to have a lovingly prepared, delicious meal. The chicken and dumpling soup was homemade and the chicken was shredded white and dark meat. It was perfect. I ordered a burger and fries and everything came out hot. The burger was huge and the fries crispy.The quality was great and each and every employee took the time to chat with me, both the waitstaff and kitchen staff. Very friendly atmosphere with employees who want their customers to have a great meal. I recommended Vegetarian options: Meatless burger available on menu

We just stopped for soft seve , but it hit the spot

This was very convenient from the Old Abe trail and I was pleased that they had a veggie burger. I think it was a beyond burger.

Good food, very friendly service, decent prices. I'd probably stop again if I was in the area.

We ordered carry out Chicken for 40 people, it was excellent. The chicken was nice size pieces, done to perfection. The sides Jo-Jo. french-fries, and coleslaw were also good. Sam and her staff was right on time and very accommodating. Will order again.
