The woman who took our order over the phone was very friendly and polite. She gave us a time frame for when our food would be ready for pick up and said she would call us when it was ready. When we got home and unpacked our food, we noticed that the portions were very small and thought they may have mixed up our order. I called to confirm, but was told the portions were correct. We had ordered a dinner for 6, but the container of chicken balls only had 8 in it. The woman on the phone politely insisted that the portions were correct. The total cost for our meal for 6 and an additional dish was just under $100, but the food was disappointing. The chicken balls tasted like McDonald's nuggets, the chicken in the chow mein was dry, and the General Tso's chicken was overly sweet and sticky. The hot and sour soup looked and tasted like dirty water. Overall, most of the food was bland. We are not looking for compensation, but simply sharing our experience to warn others. We want to make sure that others don't waste their money like we did.
The food at this restaurant is excellent and freshly cooked. It is by far the best Chinese food in Cornwall. Absolutely, I have nothing to complain about after visiting six times.
This cozy restaurant offers made-to-order food that is worth the wait. The rustic and pleasant atmosphere adds to the overall dining experience.
I order when I went to eat Chow mien bit in raw chicken. I'll never order from here again.
The server would not allow a substitution which is understandable, but then put in the wrong order. The portions were small compared to other places, but not terribly unreasonable. The egg roll was bad, wonton soup was mainly broth with only 2 small wontons. The...chicken soo guy had no sauce on it and was covered in white granulated sugar. It tasted horrible. The chicken fried rice was ok. I will never go back or recommend this place.
