Please avoid. Ordered sweet and sour, chilli beef and curry sauce. Everything tasted exactly the same, all the same colour. Same sauce across all the dishes. The chilli beef was hollow, just nasty greasy batter. So so disappointing and an absolute rip off.

We called into Eastern Empire for a takeaway on our way home from Somerset on 13th. October instead of driving to our usual takeaway in Penzance. What a bad choice that was ! I ordered beef curry my wife ordered prawns with spring onions and ginger and we had a portion of chips between us. My curry tasted of anything but curry and consisted of very poor quality meat in a greasy gravy with not a trace of curry taste. My wife's prawns were in a similar greasy gravy with no trace of ginger. Our chips could have been warmed up from earlier or possibly the previous day, they were not edible ! I rang the restaurant, twice, to complain and, eventually, was offered a 30% reduction on a replacement order, an insult to my intelligence ! The meals weren't 30% bad but, truthfully, being kind, I would have a struggle to rate them 30% good ! Needless to say, I will not be taking the Manager's offer of a 30% discount and I would advise complete avoidance bearing in mind that this establishment is at least 20% more expensive than other takeaways in the area !

Dinner for four ordered, the duck was overcooked dry and tasteless, no sauce for the pancakes! The chow mein dry with chunks of chicken and no flavour, the beef satay was floating on powdery liquid and full of hot chilli. The sweet and sour cantanese chicken was cold and the chicken thick and chunky, no pineapple only uncooked white onion. £67 cost and most of it in the bin, no wonder the restaurant itself is closed. Saw us comming.

Think I got over charged when I added it up to the online menu, food was very bland hardly any ginger in the dish I ordered and waited nearly an hour for it, won’t be getting one again sorry needs to improve Used to be a very good restaurant as well now it only does take away disappointing
