Really excellent fishing and chips. in the last four or five years we are back to the fission. fish is always freshly cooked and with only a thin crispy coating of teig. chips are thick cut and delicious. they prefer to be fast for the sampi! would definitely recommend.
I decided to write a review after reading some negative reviews, and I must say that my experience was well worth it! The service was a bit slow, but for good reason - all the orders seemed to be made fresh, resulting in delicious food. My family tried the cod and haddock, both of which tasted fresh and delightful. The prices were fair considering the high quality of the food. We have been coming to St Agnes for years and have never had a bad meal. Keep up the great work!
Back to being great fish and chips, Lovely staff too from here. You can get cheaper but you get what you pay for
This fish and chip shop used to be the best in the South West, and possibly even in the whole country. The chips were amazing and the fish and batter were perfect. They were served in a cardboard box to keep them from getting soggy. However, when we visited in September 2023, we were disappointed to find new staff behind the counter. Despite this, we hoped for the same great meal. Unfortunately, we were served dry, rubbery chips and tasteless fish batter wrapped in paper on a tray for £11.50. This was the worst fish and chips I've ever had. If you have memories of the perfect fish and chips they used to serve, I strongly recommend savoring those memories and not returning.
