Flatwhite did not have two measures...or the coffee is not great. The poached eggs came over done and hard (done in microwave I think). Toast was very good and the bacon was thick and tasty. So mixed review, barista training is required as well as better quality beans. Staff friendly and professional. Don 't use a microwave it 's not very chefy !
We had high expectations when we entered Hatters, and they were definitely met. The atmosphere was fantastic, with friendly staff and outstanding food and drinks. I will definitely be returning soon.
Well, a friendly greeting firstly and the shop is very quaint. I asked if I could have blackcurrant jam with my cream tea and I really enjoyed every mouthful. My first time in Redruth but be sure I’ll visit again. 5*
I have been visiting this restaurant every Saturday since it first opened. Sandra, Paul, and the staff are fantastic - very friendly and enjoy engaging with customers. The coffee is delicious, and I always make sure to grab a takeaway when I'm in town for an appointment. The food is top-notch, and the menu now includes ice cream. They cater to those with gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, and vegetarian dietary needs. I highly recommend this place.
The service at this restaurant is consistently excellent. The staff are extremely friendly, warm, and welcoming. However, the coffee is disappointing. This was my second visit to the restaurant. The first time was shortly after it opened, so I decided to give it another try. The coffee lacked crema, was cloudy and weak, and had no flavor. It seems like the coffee machine is not being properly cleaned, or unfiltered water is being used. I specifically ordered a strong coffee and asked for a new one when it didn't meet my expectations, but the replacement was also unsatisfactory. The scones were decent, but they were not fresh (they seemed to be microwaved) and there was only one provided when I usually receive two in a cream tea. The scones were served with Rodda's cream, but the jam was low quality and lacked fruit. I would come back for the exceptional service, but I would not return for the coffee, unfortunately.
