Beautiful spot at an old water mill, fantastic cakes, lovely friendly staff. Loved how the birds came and sat on our table for crumbs!
Really lovely cream tea for gluten and dairy intolerant. Pretty and relaxing place to indulge by the pond.
We attended stone cooked pizza dinner which was absolutely delightful. Very friendly staff and most delicious meal. We were sat in a hut with the wood fire which made the experience even better.
We happened across this wonderful place as we were leaving Veryan. Just wow! It's not smart but we thought it is absolutely terrific. A secret garden. The cream tea was two scones, a huge amount of cream and jam, tea came in a pretty teapot with extra water and teabags, to top up. It was £6.40, which we thought was very good value for what we received. We sat on a table made from a water tank, beside a small waterfall, in amongst plants and flowers but there was other seating and covered areas around a pond. Inside the building are some mill workings and things for sale (including homemade jams and chutneys) I would love to re-visit this special place
