The Harvey's sausages were deliciously peppery. I would have preferred a hot plate and homemade beans instead of canned ones. I will definitely return. However, the decaf coffee was terrible.
The restaurant is situated in a beautiful location right on the beach, offering great views and easy access to the shoreline. The young lady working at the bar seemed a bit serious, but our waitress was friendly despite the 40-minute wait in a not very busy restaurant before Easter. The fish sandwiches were delicious, but the mussels were undercooked, causing them to stick to the shells on both sides. Although edible, they were difficult to eat. We should have mentioned this issue, but after waiting with young children, we chose to react in a typically British manner.
05–02-2023 Sandbar Praa sands worst service we have ever had and first time we have ever left a review online… -30mins before someone coming to take drink order. -all glasses dirty -wrong drink orders (then didn’t even bring correct ones back) -kids mains run out of burgers -10mins later head to bar for apple juice, then tried to serve kids with high sugar apple juice…. -left the filthy fries as it looked like something that had been regurgitated -one main didn’t even come out. -then at checkout tried to over charge for extra meal and drinks. Which now getting home they still did! This is the worst place that we have ever eaten, having lived with 3miles of Praa sands my whole life it’s ridiculous at the service, price and overall experience. Been eating here off an on since it become the sandbar back in 2003, but never again.

Few bits off the menu but amazing food and great staff. Best view ever. Live locally and will make more effort to eat out and promote local business
