We are fortunate to live near Slice in Trewardreva. It has become our go-to spot for coffee and cake when we take our dogs for a walk. The outdoor space offers a stunning view of the pond and forests. The staff is lovely, quietly efficient, and always ready to give attention to our dogs, Loki and Heida. The coffee is excellent and I indulged in a delicious chocolate and salted caramel cake today, although I forgot to take a picture before devouring it. I'll remember next time! Slice is a hidden gem, surrounded by parks and beautiful walks in the Bosahan forests just a short distance away. - Nick and Jackie
The restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere that is perfect for couples, friends, and families. The trendy decor adds to the overall ambiance. I ordered the tofu wad and my friend had the fried chicken flatbread, both of which were excellent. The coffees were also fantastic. I was impressed by the homemade flat broths, which had a high quality taste. They reminded me of the best wood-fired pizzas. Next time, I will definitely try the smooth flatbread. My only critique is that the tofu waffles needed a contrast, such as a lemon to offset the syrup. The staff was attentive and efficient. It is a popular cafe, so be sure to make reservations. We went on a Wednesday at noon and still had to wait. Sitting outside in the summer would be a great experience. I would recommend this restaurant to friends.
We stumbled over it and had to turn around and come back when we realized it was a place to eat. the menu is wide and exciting and has some amazing elements to choose. the dhal, was amazing and superb flatbread combined with not really. tempura vegetables should die. huge and filling portions. and the taste was long when we left. coffee was good and over all excellent worth for money. would return tomorrow! and if they ever branched into another twog. Come to cambridgeshire!
What a find, we drove past while having a look around the Lizard peninsular, went back and had a fantastic lunch. We’re always looking for somewhere new for a good meal but this place wasn’t on my radar. They’re big on instagram and I’m not!...We had some lovely homemade hummus, some fried squid with chilli and delicious homemade garlic mayo and some Parmesan fries. Every bit of it was really tasty and generous, and with two pots of tea, We called in on a Monday lunch and they were completely booked inside, and although we had a table outside it was a bit chilly. Best book for a table in the warm.
