The Boathouse

The restaurant has a charming ambiance and welcoming staff. The food is tasty and reasonably priced.

The ladies here do a great job very friendly and attentive. We both ordered the chilli which was spot on after a long walk. I would return and also recommend this place. Its is also very dog friendly.

I feel like we discovered a gem. Whilst walking along the coastal path towards the hidden hit site we stopped at this lovely cafe. Because it was November it was relatively quiet, I bet it is rammed in the Summer. Seems to be run by lovely people producing great food in simple and smart surroundings. On our first visit we had cakes and drinks and loved it so much we went back again for lunch. Our group of six loved the rocky road, the Christmas scones and the simple lunches. Service was timely and friendly. Give it a go. Thank you.

Absolutely superb cafe with delicious home cooked food and excellent service. Very dog friendly. Great welcoming atmosphere. Will definitely return.

We visited the boathouse with our dog for lunch. The staff were very friendly and lovely with Reggie the dog bringing him biscuits. We both had the special ‘chilli’ for lunch which was very nice. Loved the warm vibe of the place and we would definitely return.
