The food at this restaurant is fantastic, and the pub is extremely clean. The staff is great - friendly, helpful, and provided excellent service at very reasonable prices. There is something for everyone on the menu, and they were able to accommodate our group of six at short notice. We visit often, but now we will be dining in more frequently.

I have to start by saying that I absolutely love the atmosphere of this pub. It is quite spacious and located on the main street in Callington. We made a reservation for dinner early on as we had plans afterwards, so there were only a few tables occupied. The staff were very friendly and the food was served promptly. We ordered the Hunter's Chicken and Scampi, both of which were delicious. We also appreciated that this pub is dog friendly, which adds to its traditional charm. The serving times are displayed on notice boards. We will definitely be returning to this pub as it is conveniently located for us.

It is unacceptable to have one bad pint, let alone two! The Legend and Jail Ale were both terrible. We should have realized something was wrong when asked if the beer was alright after it was poured. It's a shame because the location is great and the food looked good as well.

We had a lovely meal food was good, nice pub food. However some of the locals didn't seem right. There was a man who was drinking and he has a small Airedale terrier that was going for everyone's dogs and my toddler walked up the stair and the dog lunged for my child.. this left me extremely on edge worrying about if the man would drop his dogs lead again. management need to not allow aggressive and unpredictable dogs in. Staff were kind and helpful

We have just eaten a yummy steak dinner this evening. Great service and food. I will recommend for a friendly relaxed feel in a traditional setting.
