The Cornishman

We had a lovely meal at the Cornishman whilst staying in Crantock. The fish, chips mushy peas were delicious as was the salmon. Staff are really friendly the service was excellent. Would definitely recommend.

Fabulous. I'm so pleased to say this pub has returned to its previous excellence!! Staff were friendly and helpful and the food was absolutely delicious. We had the fish and chips, mushy peas were also included which were lovely and sweet, The chips were crispy and the succulent cod covered in crispy batter. Will definitely be returning!!

Late lunch Sunday Roast. We booked earlier in the week and wanted the last time available. We were asked to choose from Beef, Lamb or Chicken to make sure our preferred meal would be available. A friendly welcome as always here, our roast arrived promptly. It was hot, visually pleasing, plentiful and more importantly very tasty. All vegetables cooked well, beef extremely succulent and tasty. Extra gravy and a bowl of delicious cauliflower cheese appeared soon after. All in the price £15. Would definitely recommend!

Was going to eat hear,but was overlooked at the bar infaivour of Neanderthal barman serving locals.Had the one drink while listening to clientele farting and decided it wasn’t for us

We came here when most other places kitchens were closed. The Pizzas were fresh and tasted really good, nothing special but just a good base and toppings (although if you ask for Jalpenos you get a whole jar it seems...which is a good or bad thing depending how much you like them) There was a quiz on when we visited on a Thursday night, bar staff friendly and just an all round good atmosphere. It's gone through a bit of change over the years, so it was great to see it busy and buzzing.
