The Croust Hut

Only up the road from us, we normally come twice a month maybe more. Honestly the perfect independent coffee shop restaurant you'll find in this part of Cornwall... The coffee is to DIE for, aswell as the hot chocolates and the food is 5 ... but it's the staff that also make us want to come back!!! So friendly and polite... Can't fault or complain about anything, ALTHOUGH, we wish breakfast was served all day :P I could eat about 10 of those full English's.

I researched this restaurant before our trip to Cornwall and was eagerly anticipating our visit. I was not let down - the food was fantastic! It was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was great.

Good food , a little pricy , good service from the lovely waitress but the person at the till was foul , having had a lovely hour with family it was completely ruined by the vile female who I had the misfortune to have to pay .. I was going to give a decent tip but instead here I am !! Ive never given a bad review but I sincerely hope no one else has the experience I had

My parents and I came to this restaurant after my mom was recommended by a coworker. We were greeted by the head chef who was working up front, and he was fantastic. I ordered the full English breakfast and considered getting the extra large one, but I'm glad I went with the standard size as it was still huge. My mom had the banana bread and my dad had the peach waffles, both of which were excellent. It did take a bit of time for our food to come out, but the restaurant was very busy so we didn't mind the wait. The service was great all around, and we were pleasantly surprised to find this gem in the middle of an old Cornish mine in Troon. We will definitely be returning. Thank you.

Great little cafe with fantastic Asian inspired food attached to the museum. We had the waffle and bimimbap which were both amazing, caramel frappe excellent too Cakes looked amazing with 6 varieties so will definitely be back to try those!
