The menu offered a good selection of interesting options and in part the food was acceptable. Some elements were not the best quality but in general our meals were edible if a little pricey. We didn’t feel that The Old Quay House really wanted people to do anything more than eat and leave. A huge shame really as the location offers so much at first sight.
Wonderful lunch on a rainy da. As always the food and service is excellent. One of our very favourite restaurants whenever we are down here.
This Inn is brilliant for Sunday lunch. My husband and I booked 10 days ago for carvery lunch for today. The service was prompt and staff were very friendly and efficient. The portion size was very generous, delicious and good value for money. My husband and I are gluten intolerant and they provided gluten free Yorkshire puddings and gravy. We also were fortunate enough to have see view. We shall be be definitely coming back again.
Called in for an evening meal, luckily we arrived before 8pm as that is when they stop serving. Great meal and very pleasant surroundings. Staff very efficient we will definitely be back next time we are in the area
