The Old Tea House

It is with huge regret that we will be saying goodbye to the Old Tea House at the of this month. It has been one of our favourite place to visit over 9 years. The homemade cakes and scones are some of best I have ever had. The staff are lovely and friendly and being very dog friendly a huge plus. You will be very much missed.

Stumbled on this lovely cafe a year ago and found it to be delightful. Lovely ambiance, excellent service and great food. A year later, identical experience. Perfect! Our ‘go to’ place when visiting Wadebridge from now on.

Not only did we have a lovely breakfast, we came back for an afternoon tea to die for. Crab prawn sandwiches, beautiful scones, jam clotted cream. Cake to take home orange almond lemon blueberry. What a gorgeous place this is. Lovely ladies looking after us a good chef. Pleased to say a smiley downs syndrome boy was also helping in kitchen so good to see. Suzi co, you were the best. Everybody please rush to this gorgeous tearoom.

Beautiful cooked breakfasts, lovely staff, warm and welcoming atmosphere. Very reasonably priced and we look forward to coming back! Also, try the homemade peach iced tea! It’s delicious!
