The parking is also convenient. I will definitely be returning. My only suggestion is that the restaurant could use some background heat as it was a bit chilly inside.
The atmosphere and energy at this restaurant are fantastic. It is definitely the place to be on a Friday night. It was packed, but that just added to the excitement of the evening.
We had a great meal at this restaurant. We sat outside and watched the sunset. The staff made us feel very welcome and took great care of us. They were very accommodating. My husband had a homemade burger and I had quesadillas. The food was incredibly fresh and delicious. We highly recommend trying this restaurant!
I first discovered The Saracens Plate after being invited to meet friends here for brunch. We all have small children and so for us, a family friendly venue was key to being able to have an enjoyable meal together. The cafe certainly didn’t let us down. It’s a large space that gives children plenty of room to safely roam and ours were all preoccupied for ages with the selection of toys they have in the toy box. The decor is very simple but has a contemporary feel to it. I love it because it’s just nice to find somewhere stylish to go with my toddler in tow knowing we can still have fun and both completely relax there. The venue also has a huge amount of free on site parking, high chairs and nappy changing facilities. I definitely give it 5/5 for being a family friendly venue. It doesn’t disappoint food wise either. The selection of food is brilliant and the quality is amazing! I’ve not had a disappointing meal there yet! They cater for all vegetarians, vegans and meat eaters. Being a community interest company their prices are also really reasonable. It’s nice to see good quality healthy food that’s affordable and easily accessible. It really is a wonderful space for everyone to use and enjoy young, old and everyone in between. I highly recommend you check it out because when you find it you won’t be disappointed and will end up making regular trips back to this hidden gem of a cafe.
The menu is ever evolving, healthy and caters for all . Meat munchers, Veggies, Vegans and gluten free options on meals and cakes. Since moving to Falmouth, The Saracen's Plate has become home from home. I realised that by the time I have bought some ingredients for food at home, I have spent the same as I would for a meal there. Oh and did I mention the coffee? Seriously the best coffee I have tasted in a cafe for a long time !! If you are visiting Falmouth and want to eat away from the hustle bustle of town and the parking wardens, The Saracen's Plate is an easy drive from the centre.. close to Asda and from what I gather, there will be more in the way of evening entertainment in the near future.
