The White Horse Inn

We received a very warm welcome from the staff upon arrival, and it was a nice touch to be greeted by the owners Dan and Viki. The food was served promptly and was great value for money. The pub has a happy family atmosphere and caters to all ages with the events they host. I highly recommend a visit, especially for the food. Can't wait to return again.

The vegan burger I ordered was disappointing - it was just a plain burger with no sauce, cheese, or salad, just a patty in a plain roll. The server explained that it was due to the time of year, but I was almost embarrassed to be served such a lackluster dish. The price of £15.95 was shocking considering the lack of quality. The atmosphere of the restaurant was good and the staff were nice, so I didn't have the heart to complain at the time. In the future, I would prefer to be told that they don't have any suitable options available. Overall, I would rate the experience a 3 out of 5.

I ordered the vegan bean burger at this restaurant. I appreciate that it wasn't a fake meat burger, but I found that the deep-frying left it undercooked inside. The abundance of caraway seeds on the outside overpowered the flavor. The choice of greens with the burger didn't work for me; I would have preferred tomatoes or onions especially considering the price of £15. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant.

Service was outstanding, nothing was too much trouble and the food was amazing . We had a Sunday carvery and was honestly the best we've had. The treacle tart with ice cream was delicious and they were kind enough to put my leftovers in a foil container. Will definitely revisit regularly and highly recommend Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5
