We ordered the Mackerel with Brochette and the Sea Bass with Tagliatelle and sugar snap peas, both priced at over £13. When our dishes arrived, they looked good, with the Mackerel cooked to perfection. However, the portion size of the Mackerel was more like a starter than a main dish worth £13. The Sea Bass, on the other hand, was overcooked and somewhat crispy. The pasta was cold and tasteless, and the sugar snap peas were stringy and past their prime. Overall, we were disappointed with the small portion sizes and the lackluster quality of the food considering the £34 (approx) that we spent on this meal.
Today we stopped at Tim's Place for lunch and we were very satisfied. We both ordered sandwiches and they were delicious. The bread was fresh and the fillings were amazing. We were pleasantly surprised to find our favorite Darjeeling tea available, which is not typically found in small cafes. We also purchased some sweets to take with us and they were also fantastic. We are really happy that we decided to stop in.
Highly recommended! the idea of a comfort food finger sandwich is brought to a completely new level; this is so obvious to house with fresh filets of fish made in the largest fishing finger of all time, with thick cut fresh brot and wetar sauce. that is not a café food, that is to impress eating! if they only visit a caffe in wadebridge, it must be this!
Excellent brunch menu the best ever hot chocolate that our children think is amazing! we chose pancakes with speck maple syrup and excellent touch with smoked salmon avocado. determines a departure to wadebridge, fab food great service many thanks
