I went to this restaurant over the weekend and tried the quesabirra, which was amazing, as well as the consommé and passion fruit. I filmed a review on my YouTube channel, Amanda Trujillo, if you would like to check it out this Tuesday.
We always drove past this food truck but had never stopped until today. My husband kept talking about tacos, so after church, I was craving them. We finally decided to pull over and give it a try, and I'm glad we did. I liked that they only use one tortilla in their tacos. I had a carne asada taco and a carnitas taco, both of which were delicious. The salsa they provided was also tasty. My husband had two al pastor tacos and he enjoyed them as well. The menu had a variety of options, so we look forward to trying more items in the future.
Great food. Consume has flavor. The salsas are on point. Nicely priced too. Corona needs more of these type of loncheras.
We needed a food truck and La Pikosita didn't disappoint. They're known for their quesabirria, and they're open Fri-Sun in Corona off Magnolia and Grant and Wed-Thur in Perris off Cajalco and Brown. The asada tacos and quesabirria are delicious. Both juicy and not fatty. The tacos need two tortillas and the quesabirria wasn't crispy. I'm not sure if it's the packaging or it just wasn't made crispy enough. But the consome was bomb. Pair that with the quesabirria, cilantro, onions, chile and grilled onions and you got yourself some good food. Prices are average and customer service is great. Overall a solid Mexican foodtruck.
